We would always love to Watch movies, playing games or giving a presentation on a big screen. The good news is that we do not need knowledge to connect your laptop or MacBook to a TV. We can do it in just a few minutes using either a cable or a wireless option.
Here is the simple guide
Connect laptop and Macbook With TV

1. Using a Cable (HDMI Method)

->The easiest way is with an HDMI cable.
  • Plug one end of the cable into laptop and the other end into TV.
  •  TV will usually detect it automatically and show  laptop screen.
  • If  laptop or MacBook does not have an HDMI port then use USB-C to HDMI adapter.
 Tip: If the picture doesn’t look right, go to Display Settings on Windows or System Preferences Displays on Mac and adjust the resolution.

2. Connecting Wirelessly

If you don’t want to deal with cables, you can connect wirelessly.
->For Windows Laptops
  • Make sure your laptop and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • On Windows 10, open Action Centre, select Project, then choose Connect to a wireless display.
  • On Windows 11, go to Display Settings > Multiple Displays > Connect a wireless display.
->For MacBook
  • Keep your MacBook and TV (or Apple TV) on the same Wi-Fi.
  • Open Control Center and click Screen Mirroring.
  • Select your TV or Apple TV from the list.
  • You can choose to mirror (same screen) or extend screen.
Most new smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony, etc.) already support this feature. If not, you can use an Apple TV device.

3. Helpful Tips

Choose the right input: On your TV remote, switch to the HDMI port where you plugged the cable.
->Mirror vs Extend
  • Mirror -> shows the same screen on both laptop and TV.
  • Extend -> TV works like a second screen, useful for multitasking.
- >Sound problem On your laptop, set the TV as the sound output.
->Lag on wireless If the connection feels slow, use a cable for smoother video.

Note :-

  • Wireless (Windows) Easy streaming, quick setup Both devices need same Wi-Fi
  • AirPlay (Mac) Seamless with Apple devices Works best with Apple TV.
