1. Using a Cable (HDMI Method)
->The easiest way is with an HDMI cable.
- Plug one end of the cable into laptop and the other end into TV.
- TV will usually detect it automatically and show laptop screen.
- If laptop or MacBook does not have an HDMI port then use USB-C to HDMI adapter.
2. Connecting Wirelessly
If you don’t want to deal with cables, you can connect wirelessly.->For Windows Laptops
- Make sure your laptop and TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- On Windows 10, open Action Centre, select Project, then choose Connect to a wireless display.
- On Windows 11, go to Display Settings > Multiple Displays > Connect a wireless display.
- Keep your MacBook and TV (or Apple TV) on the same Wi-Fi.
- Open Control Center and click Screen Mirroring.
- Select your TV or Apple TV from the list.
- You can choose to mirror (same screen) or extend screen.
3. Helpful Tips
Choose the right input: On your TV remote, switch to the HDMI port where you plugged the cable.->Mirror vs Extend
- Mirror -> shows the same screen on both laptop and TV.
- Extend -> TV works like a second screen, useful for multitasking.
->Lag on wireless If the connection feels slow, use a cable for smoother video.
